10 Things we wish our clients knew: #3

Photographers fully realize that part of the process is spending time to email back and forth, have phone calls or meetings and get to know your opinions before making a decision.  Your photographer expects you to talk to more than one person.  We are under no egotistical trip that we are the ONE and ONLY photographer you're looking at.

But if you've gotten through several follow ups, it's sort of like the start of a relationship, so when you do this and then ghost, we can't help but think to ourselves "wow, was it something I said?" or "I wonder what I could have done better?".

Just to be clear it's totally cool if someone isn't your first choice, but we would rather get some feedback - even if it's negative - than to feel like we are bothering you by following up.

Do the photographer the courtesy of responding to their follow up and just let them know if they're still in the running or not.
