A Little About Me
I'm Jonathan Messenger and I specialize in high school senior and family photography.
I have been taking photographs for about 13 years now. But I realized many years after I started that photography is more than just posing someone, telling them to "say cheese" and to smile pretty, snapping a few pictures and then just going home never to see each other again.
It's about connections.
It's about family.
You are inviting me into your world for an hour or so where you are very vulnerable. You are trusting me to capture your most precious moments and that's a huge deal. I don't take that lightly.
I definitely understand that photo sessions can be very stressful for everyone from worrying about how to pose (what do I do with my hands?!) to outfit and location choices.
So, we will start with a free, no obligation discovery session where we will get to know each other better. Also during the session we will discuss any fears or concerns you may be having which should help alleviate the stress.
If at the end of the session we determine that we are a good match, we'll work on setting up a date and time. If not, we'll go our separate ways with nothing lost but time.
I want you to be as comfortable as possible with the entire experience. I want you to feel like you're part of my family.
And if you're not feeling it, that's ok too.
