All of my sessions are outdoors. I have used Waid Park, Smart View Overlook on the Parkway, Franklin County High School campus, beautiful Ferrum College and even the roof of Center in the Square in downtown Roanoke.
But what I love most is using locations that have a special meaning to the senior or their family.
I love bold, vibrant colors with a special emphasis on the subject which is the senior. You'll notice that about 90% of my images have a vignette around the main subject in the photograph which highlights them more than the actual background.
I also love talking with the senior and coming up with unique shots that hold meaning to them whether it be their with their car, truck, a sport or instrument they play or even with their horses.
Pinterest is utilized a great deal in my research! 😀
